Books with covers made from hemp fabrics – not a new concept, but now being handmade in Byron Bay. Natural hemp organic cotton blend fabric with screen printed and stamped images have made absolutely fantastic book covers. Simple and artistic with such class it is almost difficult to recognise the fabric! The creator of these is Zac Conway of Byron Bound.
Very environmentally friendly and beautiful products that have been described to us by Zac who said the journals had”…hemp for the cover which I coated in an australian made eco friendly teflon coating so it will repel water and stains, I also used a special glue for the covers which I made myself.”
